Description
Land Between The Lakes (LBL) is a 170,000 acre National Recreation Area located between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. There are many miles of gravel and severly unmaintained forest roads throughout the area. LBL is a giant playground for adults as well as kids. Most of the land and roads are open for exploring with only a few must have areas set aside for wildlife management that are closed off.

Official Land Between the Lakes Road Map
The following roads are the most rugged and make for great through rides when combined with gravel access roads. Some of these roads have out and back side roads that are great for exploring and lead to the shoreline or cemeteries. Please respect all cemeteries by keeping within the parking areas. The roads are listed on the map from north to south.
